The Tango Times Dance Company was created by Oscar Caballero & Roxana Garber in 2001 to promote the Argentine Dances in the US.
Mission

The Tango Times Dance Studio offers lessons for people of all ages and levels: from the very beginners to the most advanced students. Our unique teaching technique is the key of the success of our school. Specialized in the Argentine Folk and Tango Dances, we offer a variety of classes for those who are willing to wider their skills. Either if you want to learn a social dance for fun or be a stage professional, you will be able to join us in group or private lessons. Lessons and performances are the way that The Tango Times Dance Studio trains a new generation of Professional Dancers. If you can walk, you can dance! Biography
Since the year 2000, Oscar Caballero and Roxana Garber have been spreading the Tango and the Argentine Folklore Dances in South Florida throughout their lessons, workshops and shows. These two diffusers of the national culture work untiringly to manage to transmit the beauty and depth of our enriched Argentine inheritance. For this matter, on year 2001 they founded the Tango Times Dance Company with its bases in Miami, FL. At this school they teach Tango and Argentine Folklore to students with diversity ethnics’ characteristics. There are also technique lessons in modern dance focusing in scenic movements of the Argentine dances. The facilities of the studio are the house of the dance company where the dancers, not only work the corporal issue of the dance, but also study history and learn to investigate. Thus, responsibly and with maturity, the choreographies are made and the theater scripts of each show are solved. At the moment, the Tango Times Dance Company produces two great performances a year at the Manuel Artime Theater of the City of Miami, FL. under the direction of its creators. The first one is in July commemorating the Argentine Independence day with Tango and Folklore; the second one is during the month of December celebrating the International Day of Tango. Both shows are being held with independent funds with the support of the Consulate General of the Argentine Republic in Miami. It is for that reason that the company looks for the support of important companies to solve the publicity of the event. Nevertheless, the presentations of the Tango Times Dance Company, are not limited to those two annual appearances, it is also hired by institutions for big events.
